Windows 7 released in October

The latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows 7, has been given a release date and it would seem to be earlier than expected.

It will become officially available on the 22nd October.

In the past Microsoft has run into problems with other releases, with negative feedback from the media over Vista.

This is something that the company will be looking to avoid with the release of Windows 7.

Windows 7 is fully compatible with Vista, in fact customers who buy a new computer in July that is running Vista will be offered a free upgrade to Windows 7 when it is released.

One of the main criticisms of Vista is the time it takes to start up and shut down, and these issues have apparently been addressed with Windows 7.
