Google issues warning over Chrome for Mac

by David Allen

Google has issued a warning to computer users who are running a Linux based operating system or the Mac OS, not to download and use the Google browser Chrome.

The warning applies to the newly released Mac and Linux builds of Chrome that are currently available to download.

It seems that these are not fully complete and are intended for use by developers only.

Until recently Chrome was only available for Microsoft Windows, so it is difficult for Mac and Linux users to hold back from downloading the Chrome browser, as many of them will be eager to see what Google has done.

The incomplete version will not allow users to view YouTube videos, change privacy settings, set the default search provider or even print.
