BT Wi-Fi takes off at Heathrow

The Wi-Fi operator, BT Openzone, has won a new contract with SkyTeam, a global organisation working with airlines.

The three year contract will give passengers arriving and leaving from Heathrow’s Terminal Four building, access to the Wi-Fi network completely free of charge.

The network will be branded under the SkyTeam alliance brand and will be available at the SkyTeam lounge.

Although this will be free, passengers will be able to access the SkyTeam Wi-Fi network while at the airport, but a BT international Wi-Fi voucher will give the user access to over fifty thousand Wi-Fi sites.

The voucher will cost the user £28. It is good for five hundred Wi-Fi minutes and will last for fourteen days – just enough for the annual holiday abroad.
