Demand for broadband set to grow 7% per year

Despite the current financial worries, it looks as if both mobile and fixed line broadband markets are set to grow over the next few years, until at least 2013!

Industry experts are predicting that this growth is going to be around seven per cent a year, which is a significant figure in market that has seen widespread growth for a number of years.

According to research conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, the overall market growth for this sector will be something in the region of forty per cent over the given time period.

These figures must take into consideration new customers taking on mobile broadband as well as the new fixed line broadband customers who are getting access to the broadband network for the very first time.
