Vizio Expands Their Lineup of Internet Content Providers

vizio_gv52l Aside from previously announced online content partners such as Rhapsody, Amazon on Demand, Blockbuster on Demand, Flickr, Pandora, and Netflix, Vizio added several more to expand their upcoming plans of incorporating Internet content on their products. Earlier this year, at CES, Vizio revealed its intentions to merge television with the web.

This plan is through their VIA services, and it became even more formidable with the addition of Vudu, Showtime, Revision 3, Radiotime, and Rallypoint Sports, as well as eBay for shopping, and Facebook and Twitter for social networking.

Of course, VIA connected HDTVs come equipped with an 802.11n Wi-Fi, as well as an ethernet port to allow these sets to download content from the internet. The TVs come with a universal remote that has a built-in keyboard for easy navigation, and is equipped with Bluetooth so you can type without having to worry about pointing the remote at the TV.

More and more companies are acknowledging the value of a television set connected to the web. It is even more encouraging to see that Vizio, one of fastest rising brand in the Television market, is doing its to give customers the right services. These Web-connected HDTVs will be available this fall.
