Acer Announces the H235H LCD Display

For all you gamers out there, check out the newest announcements from Acer. A new display called the Acer H235H is an HD-ready 23-inch LCD display that has been specifically designed to entice gamers on a budget. It has a 1920 by 1080 and supports VGA/HDMI/DVI with High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), and two stereo speakers.

What is interesting about this display is its touted 2ms response time. Before, this sort of performance was only available in the 24-inch H243H display. Acer’s H233H, its previous 23-inch model in its High Definition line of monitors, can handle only a 5ms response time. The faster response time should help when watching fast-moving content, or when gaming.

This new set is part of  Acer’s bid to strengthen its hold on the display market. At $240, the H235H  is actually a pretty good deal for a 23-inch LCD display. At this price range and with these features, gamers will definitely want a display such as this.
