The satellite channel Bravo, which is well known for attracting the male viewer, could be looking to change things around slightly as it attempts to introduce more factual and humourous programmes.
According to Bravo it has been playing it safe with the content that it has been showing.
Finding suitable content for both the female and male audience, in the age range that the channel wants to attract, is not going to be easy.
Bravo estimates that around sixty per cent of its audience is male, although it does seem more. Nevertheless, Bravo does not want to become fixed as channel that only offers ‘bloky’ entertainment, although it will remain a male orientated channel.
