Satellite the only way to see “The Bill” in Scotland

July 9, 2009

As the long running ITV police series “The Bill” prepares to launch much grittier post watershed episodes, STV has decided that it will remove the series from its schedules from the 23rd July.

Instead, STV viewers will be treated to Made In Scotland, Scotland Revealed and The Scots Who Fought Franco.

The only way that fans will be able to see “The Bill” after it has been removed from the STV schedules will be through satellite TV.

The satellite service from Sky TV carries all of the regional programmes too, so although the local service may be the one that is in the BBC or ITV position on the Sky TV electronic programme guide (EPG), further down the guide the regional programmes can be found.
