KDLV26XBR1 Sony is adding another paradigm to Internet connectivity. The company was one of the first companies to offer HDTVs capable of connecting to the Internet. But something’s still missing – Netflix, one of the most popular online streaming provider today. But not anymore. Sony’s Bravia Internet Video-capable HDTVs will now handle Netflix service once the set becomes available this fall.

Other devices like Microsoft’s Xbox360 gaming console, LG Electronics Blu-ray players and HDTVs, Samsung Blu-ray players, TiVo and Vizio will not be the only ones to feature Netflix’s Instant Queue video-on-demand.

The Bravia Internet Video-capable HDTVs will feature several models, including 40-, 46-, and 52-inch screen sizes. The Internet Video Link provides access to content from over 25 providers, including content from over 25 providers including Amazon Video On Demand, YouTube, Sports Illustrated, Sony Pictures, Crackle, Slacker, Epicurious.com, Concierge.com, Style.com, and Dailymotion.

Aside from Netflix, Sony also announced its partnership with Demand Media and ON Networks. This could add services such as Golflink.com, Livestrong.com, eHow.com, Golf Tips, Play Value, and Beautiful Places.

Definitely, the move from just basic television is slowly becoming a reality. There’s only one thing that consumer will have to say – Keep then coming!
