Sky News gets President Obama

Sky News managed to get an interview with the US President, Barack Obama, while on trip to Ghana, over the weekend.

The President has become a regular interviewee, with several interviews being aired, but most have been conducted in the US under stricter circumstances.

The interview, with Sky News political editor Adam Boulton, included questions about food aid for the region.

Highlights from the interview were screened on Sky News as a taster, before the full interview was aired on the Sunday Live show on Sky News at 10 am.

The interview is a bit of a coup for Sky News, which has gone into overdrive publicising it and making sure that viewer get a chance to see the interview in full at various times on Sky News, as well as making it available online.
