TalkTalk looking at the future of the router

July 20, 2009

Looking at the range of broadband routers currently on the market there is little to choose from as regards shape and style, and indeed in what this essential piece of equipment does.

However, according to the internet service provider TalkTalk, it does not have to be like that, and to that end the company has come up with some alternative broadband routers that offer more than just a wireless broadband connection.

TalkTalk is coming up with some interesting concepts on what a broadband router could look like, and what it could offer the user.

TalkTalk says that it may even consider building the most popular router, but first consumers have to vote for the favourite version of concept routers, taking into consideration the following points: signal strength, home style, energy efficiency and enjoyment – if there is such a thing with a router.
