Travellers flying with Flybe will be able to access the internet from some of the airline’s UK lounges following a deal with BT Openzone.
The lounges will be located at Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Gatwick and Glasgow airports.
This service will be free for the 4.8 million BT broadband customers with inclusive Wi-Fi minutes.
The service can be accessed when the customer buys a BT Openzone voucher, although some O2 mobile broadband customers and members of the Heathrow Terminal Four alliance lounge SkyTeam scheme will also be able to access the internet free of charge.
Wi-Fi at the airport is a handy tool for both holiday makers and business travellers, as it givers the traveller the opportunity to go online to send emails or surf the net while they are waiting to board their plane.
