The new satellite sports channel, ESPN, is forging ahead with deals and agreements with sporting organisations.
The latest signing is a deal with the UFC for the UK TV rights.
The channel will be showing the UFC 101 event on the 8th August, followed by the UFC 102 event on the 29th August.
Other deals include the TV rights to the Top 14 Orange French Rugby Championship, the Australia Football League, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters to cover the touring car tournament, and the TV rights for the FIBA European Basketball Championships.
This shows that ESPN intends to provide more access to a wide range of sports from all around the world and it isn’t finished there either as the channel will continue to search for interesting content from Europe and the world.
