UK viewers keep up pay TV subscriptions

The UK pay TV subscriber is still going strong despite the current financial climate, in fact according to the Televisions Got Talent report compiled by YouGov and Deloitte, consumers are sticking to their pay TV subscription.

According to the report the consumer would rather sacrifice something else rather than give up satellite TV.

Forty three per cent are prepared to give up eating out, thirty eight per cent would stop going to the cinema and the same amount would rather watch TV than go out to the pub.

Within the age groups, nearly fifty per cent of those in the thirty-five to forty-four age ranges are prepared to give up going out, whereas in the eighteen to twenty-four age groups only thirty five per cent would be prepared to go so far.
