New firm launched to promote HiScout
by David Masters
IT consultancy firm HiSolutions has launched a spin-off company, DB3, to develop and promote its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software, HiScout GRC Suite.
DB3 will focus its full attention on maximising the potential of HiScout, HiSolutions said, with the aim of making the software the GRC leader in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in the next four years.
“We are dedicated to continuously improving the HiScout GRC Suite in order to deliver the most user-friendly, scalable and efficient tool for managing organisations’ GRC needs,” said Michael Langhoff, DB3 executive.
HiScout is a flexible, module-based solution that brings together modules on business continuity, risk management, information security management, and business impact analysis.
Customers can use the software on a siloed or holistic basis.
The software enables organisations to take a strategic approach to IT security and risk management, and is able to grow with an organisation.
According to Langhoff, HiScout helps organisations “make more informed decisions about managing risk and applying the right levels of investments for the appropriate IT security across their organisations.”
