This week will see the satellite broadcaster BSkyB contacting Sky+ HD subscribers that have a set top box made by Samsung, with regards to them getting the all new Sky+ HD electronic programme guide (EPG).
This new EPG began its roll out back in March to Sky+ HD subscribers using the Thompson set top box, followed shortly afterwards by those subscribers with a set top box manufactured by Pace.
According to Digital Spy, the satellite broadcaster will be contacting the thirty thousand subscribers who are using Samsung equipment to let them know that the new EPG upgrade is going to be on its way very soon.
That means that those Sky+ HD subscribers with Amstrad set top boxes may have to wait until the Samsung upgrade has been completed.
