Sky Sports to show live NFL games

The satellite sports channel, Sky Sports, has signed a new three year agreement that will see live NFL American Football games and additional NFL content broadcast on the channel.

This is a continuation of a deal that has been running since 1995.

It means that every Sunday evening between 6pm and 9pm, throughout the NFL season, live games will be shown.

In addition to this, other live games will be shown on both Thursday and Saturday evenings.

According to the NFL UK boss, Alistair Kirkwood, the organisation is happy to be working with the Sky Sports team for a fourteenth consecutive season.

The 2009 season starts on Sky Sports on the 10th September at 1am.

This coverage will continue on the 13th September with one game being broadcast at 6pm and another at 9pm.
