Flickr hits iPhone

The photo sharing, vowel dropping website Flickr has released its own iPhone app to allow users to upload images on the move.

The app, which is available for free, won’t be crippled by limited functionality either. You’ll be able to do everything you can on regular Flickr, including searching through friends’ pictures, adding tags and so forth.

It also supports geo-tagging photos, so you can prove that you really are at the Eiffel Tower when you take that snap of it. (And not Blackpool Tower taken from a really clever angle).

The Flickr app will support video uploads, too (as long as you’ve got a 3GS, naturally).
