Radware, a leading market provider of delivery application integrated solutions announced that it partnered with Financial Express in order to deploy a new line of network and application devices to protect security at two prominent UK data centres.
Financial Express was able to successfully deploy the new Radware DefensePro appliances on application delivery systems that were already in existence from Radware.
Financial Express was able to meet the high demand for DoS protection and real time intrusion prevention.
In just the last two years, traffic from Financial Express doubled, increasing to 16 Mb/s from 8Mb/s.
At the same time the company needed to ensure that it would be able to deliver a high level of security without increasing the amount of latency that customer requests faced.
Head of IT operations for Financial Express, Michael Paul, stated that DefensePro worked as expected and was able to stop every simulated attack that the company launched against the system to test it before launching it.
Paul continued to say that the company evaluated many other pieces of equipment that were not able to pass the tests within the same price range or with the same amount of features.
In associated news, Nortal is still seeking more extensions to prolong the final days of its bankruptcy.
The company is searching for bankruptcy protection after selling its assets to Ericsson, Avaya, and Radware over the last year and has already received extensions to sell assets in the past.
