Google trends proves Beatles are bigger than Jesus

It was one of the most controversial moments in Beatles’ history when John Lennon said that they were more popular than Jesus.

But now, technically they are, at least according to search engine giant Google.

An upswing of Beatles related searches has occurred over the past month, primarily due to the release of the digitally remastered band’s albums, and The Beatles Rock Band video game.

The upshot of this is that the word “Beatles” has been typed into Google more times than “Jesus”.

So how will the church respond to this latest blasphemous outrage?

Jesus Rock Band seems the obvious solution, with a selection of 85 belting hymns and a guitar shaped like a crucifix.
