Top Gear to go HD

When the BBC announced its schedule for the BBC HD channel there were a lot of sighs because the popular motoring show, Top Gear, was not on the list.

The fan base of this particular show has been growing year on year and it would seem to be an obvious choice for the BBC to show on the HD channel.

However, it is also understandable that it was omitted as the BBC HD channel is only currently available for cable and satellite TV viewers, so maybe that could be the BBC’s argument.

Fortunately, HD will be appearing on the Freeview set top box sometime in December and the BBC feels that it is now the right time to rev up Top Gear and is recording the next series in HD, which should please all of those disappointed viewers.
