Acer Ferrari One netbook revs up
by Darren Allan

Acer has revealed its new Ferrari branded netbook, which will hit retailers at the end of October.
The Ferrari One packs a well specced engine, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core AMD Athlon X2 L310 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive.
The display is an 11 inch widescreen affair running a resolution of 1,366 x 768, with a Radeon HD 3200 graphics adaptor. The Acer will also boast wi-fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
It’s an aesthetically pleasing netbook, too, featuring a stylish shiny red finish emblazoned with the Ferrari logo.
Although it isn’t clear whether owners will be expected to turtle wax that glossy finish every Sunday morning.
Fortunately, one thing that is clear is that unlike a real Ferrari, the price tag won’t give your wallet convulsions. It’s set to retail at £400, complete with Windows 7.
