Virgin Media logs onto the net

The cable broadband and TV provider, Virgin Media, is adding another platform from where its content can be accessed, with the launch of the Liv Channel on the 23rd October.

This web based platform will be free of charge and is going to offer lots of short form content through various websites and social media platforms, on a syndication basis.

Because this content it free it is going to be supported by adverts, including banner adverts, branding and sponsored programmes from the likes of Walt Disney World Florida, Baileys and Nina Ricci.

Livingtv.co.uk and its associated media websites will be getting the Liv Channel first of all, although there will be content available on a dedicated YouTube channel.

This content can then be shared by users on their Facebook page, using the application provided.
