Microsoft Hotmail accounts hacked and posted
by Darren Allan

Some ten thousand Hotmail accounts have been hacked and their login details posted up online.
So claims a report from Neowin.net, which said that an anonymous user had apparently pasted up the details on October 1st.
Apparently most of the accounts are from Europe. If you have a Hotmail account, it might be worth changing the password to be on the safe side.
According to the BBC, who contacted Microsoft regarding the issue, the company responded by saying that it was aware of the claims and is currently “investigating the situation”.
If it is true, it’ll make Gmail’s glitch outages of late look like small fry in the problem pond.
