Vodafone offers Sony Ericsson Satio for pre-order

Vodafone has made the Sony Ericsson Satio available for pre-order on its website, with an expected release date of October 13th.

The Symbian powered high-end phone comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen, built-in GPS, bluetooth, 3G and wi-fi support.

It also has an MP3 player and FM radio, but the jewel in the crown is an impressive 12 megapixel camera with one-touch focus, 12x digital zoom, xenon flash and features such as face and smile detection (which automatically snaps a photo as the subject smiles).

All this won’t come particularly cheap, of course, with Vodafone offering the Satio for free starting from £35 per month on a two year contract.
