It seems that with the recent email hacking scandal that had users of web based email scrambling to change their passwords, the question of email habits has come up.
According to a recent survey it looks as if the average person is more likely to have their email hacked by a jealous partner than a hacker looking for personal information.
The survey found that around four million UK residents are quite prepared to hack into an email or social networking account of a friend or relative.
Most worrying of all is the fact that the survey, conducted by the comparison site moneysupermarket.com, found one in twelve of those asked had actually already hacked into their partner’s or a friend’s email account.
The main reason for this was to see if their partner was having an affair.
