BT man threatens to “blow up” customer’s house

It sounds like some weird TV show but when a father of two called a BT Call Centre because his broadband was not working, the last thing he expected to receive was a death threat from the call centre worker.

Allan Wardle called the BT Helpline because his internet connection was not working.

The BT worker was not able to fix the problem because Mr Wardle was not online, a row broke out and the call was ended.

A few moments later Mr Wardle received a call, which he could see was the call centre as the number was showing on the caller display.

Mr Wardle picked the phone up and the person on the other end said that he was going to blow up his house and hurt him!

Apparently, BT will be looking into the complaint, while the Northumbria Police are taking the complaint very seriously.
