Poor broadband not a UK wide issue

Slow broadband speeds and no broadband connections at all is not a nationwide issue according to broadband.co.uk.

It seems that not everyone in the UK is affected by a poor or slow broadband service.

The real problem is location or, to be more precise, the distance that the property is from the nearest BT exchange.

Surprisingly this is not an issue affecting just rural areas.

There are places in or near towns where the broadband service is poor.

It is a matter of using an out of date phone system, which has been overstretched due through overuse and population growth.

Because the broadband system is reliant on this old style copper wire technology the problem is not going to go away win the investment of both time and money.
