The satellite operator SES has lowered its end of year revenues forecast following the release of its latest results.
The firm is now expecting to see an increase of 1.5 per cent for the year, whereas before the market expectations based on previous performance were for around three to four per cent growth.
According to SES the reason for the lower estimates is the slow progress of contracts and the weakness of the US Dollar.
Fortunately, these are temporary issues and therefore the company is expecting to return to decent revenue increases of around five per cent over the next few years.
To back this up the company says that it is adding a further 204 transponders to its fleet.
Currrently there are 1102, so this is an increase of nearly twenty per cent.
