Mobile broadband laptop deals too expensive

A recent study by the comparison site Broadband Genie, found that consumers are realising that some of the laptop and mobile broadband deals around do not, in fact, offer good value for money.

The free laptop or netbook deals have been around for a few years now and many consumers have signed up, thinking that getting a free computer sounded like a good deal.

However it seems that consumers are wising up to the fact that spending between £25 and £35 per month over two years on a mobile broadband contract, just to get a run of the mill laptop free of charge, simply does not add up.

Consumers are more concerned with broadband speed and reliability these days, and this is something that mobile broadband providers should be looking into to attract new customers.
