Switchover moves to North-West Wales

The digital switchover continues its relentless move around the country and it is Wales that currently has the pleasure of waiting for the analogue signal to be switched off and for digital TV to brighten up its residents’ lives.

Currently the signals in Denbighshire and Flintshire are in the process of being switch off, with BBC2 already gone.

There are only a matter of days left for viewers to get digital TV before the analogue signal is switched off completely, after which they won’t be able to pick up any TV channels at all without the right equipment.

According to Digital UK, every home in Wales should be receiving digital TV by the end of March 2010, although it is estimated that around ninety per cent of Welsh households have already switched over to digital TV.
