Nokia phone charger replacements

Nokia has announced that a number of chargers manufactured by a third-party supplier are to be recalled.

Apparently, the plastic covers of the affected chargers could come loose and separate, exposing the charger’s internal components, making for a potential electric shock risk.

Nokia stated that the company isn’t aware of any incidents or injuries related to this issue, although affected charger models are to be exchanged as a precautionary measure.

According to a report in The Times, chargers bought in the UK are not affected.
