Two months free broadband from Virgin Media

The cable broadband, phone and TV provider, Virgin Media, is offering a couple of months worth of free services to new customers who sign up for selected packages on the cable network.

This is a web exclusive deal, and any new customer signing up online for any one of the three packages available from Virgin Media will qualify for the chosen package to be free for two months.

Not only that, as installation will be free too.

There is the potential to save a decent amount cash with this deal, as installation is worth around £35 and the cost of a package starts from around £19.50 per month.

However as quickly as Virgin Media gives it away they do take some of it back, and the new customer will need to take out the phone line service at £11 per month.

Dont do it… I signed up for B’band at £20 per month with free install and the first 3 months @ £10. I got charged for install and my bill is for £27 per month (with the compulsory £11 for phone on top of that). No amount of complaints has gotten me anywhere. Virgin are more hassle than they are worth… Their employees except for a few hidden gems are genuinely a bit dim. They are told to say I understand what you are saying – over and over even when they really dont…
My advice is to forget they exist and walk away…
