These days it seems that when it comes to broadband, it is speed that matters.
Therefore, it seems slightly strange that an ISP would choose to provide a service that offers dial-up style speeds for sixteen hours every day.
The deal, from Karoo (Kingston Communications), offers what is classed as a budget broadband service with a price tag of £5.99 per month.
It offers fast broadband through ADSL2+ during the day between the hours of 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday.
However, outside of those hours the service is going to be reduced to what the ISP calls dial up speeds, which is 56 Kbps!
According to the company this service has been designed to assist jobseekers to find work, as during the daytime hours they will be able to search job sites etc.
