Dell has launched its Inspiron Zino mini PC range with two variants of the machine.
Both pack quite a lot into their compact 8 inch square cases. The basic Zino is powered by an Intel Atom 230 processor, and comes with 1GB of memory, a 250GB hard disk, Intel 950 GMA graphics and an 8 speed DVD drive.
The more advanced Zino HD tops that with a choice of AMD Athlon Neo X2 processors, up to 8GB of memory, up to a 1TB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200 graphics and a Blu-ray drive plus HDMI port.
The HD model also comes in a range of very funky colours (the basic model is black only). Quite why the budget version can’t be colourful, we’re not sure.
Pricing starts at £299 for the Zino HD, and £249 for the standard Zino.
