MPs get involved in Mckinnon case
by David Allen

They may have left it right to the very last minute, but a Home Affairs Select Committee of MPs is calling for the Home Secretary, Alan Johnson, to review the Gary McKinnon case.
By now there cannot be many people around who are not familiar with the Gary McKinnon case, however the basics are that he hacked into the US military network, including the Pentagon, at time when it was at high alert.
He claims that he was looking for evidence of UFOs, while the US Government claim that he caused hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Currently Gary McKinnon is on his last legs when it comes to the extradition process, but this month the government will be making its final decision on the extradition, and if Gary McKinnon is found guilty, he could face up to sixty years in prison despite the fact that he has Asperger’s syndrome and there is concern for his health if the extradition goes ahead.
