
A new study by Juniper Research shows that mobile coupons are proving a lot more popular than traditional paper coupons.
Juniper Research’s new report ‘The Mobile Coupons Consumer Survey’, found that more than 3 million consumers have now used mobile coupons in the UK.
While the redemption rate for paper coupons is around 1 per cent, for mobile coupons it is around 6 per cent.
The research also showed that smart posters, which people can tap with their phones to receive coupons, are most popular with the 16 to 34 age group.
bCODE has just announced the launch of the world’s largest mobile coupon redemption network, in the USA.
The network was established through a collaboration with Screenvision and Sprint.
