Free Xbox Live Gold next week

Microsoft is offering a tasty little freebie in the form of totally gratis access to Xbox Live Gold next week in the UK.

From 5 o’clock on the 25th to the 30th of November, silver members will be able to play with the gold service, and have access to all the downloads and online multiplayer options it boasts.

Of course the real reason behind the scheme is that Microsoft wants you to see how much new stuff they’ve stuck up there.

What with the recent Facebook, Twitter, Sky Player, Zune and other service updates.
