Vodafone provides SMS retweet

Twitter addicts on Vodafone mobiles will be pleased to hear they’ll be able to use the retweet feature via SMS text.

Vodafone already offers Twitter updates on SMS, which can be received for free.

Retweeting will be the same, with receivers not charged, but those sending will pay the standard rate (or have it deducted from their plan’s text allowance).

To retweet something, say from the user @Fredbloggs, Vodafone users must send “RT Fredbloggs” to 86444. And that’s it – you’ll receive a confirmation text, too.
