Sony PS3 set to go 3D next year

The latest big news regarding the PlayStation 3 console is that it will be capable of 3D by the end of next year.

All existing consoles will be updated at some point with a firmware release that will bring 3D support on board.

Naturally, you will need a 3D capable TV and the requisite silly looking glasses as well.

Sony is also promising that 3D games will be made available, the first time it has officially said so. Bring it on, as the saying goes…
