BBC HD aired short film series
by David Allen

The BBC HD channel has shown a series of short films, shown back to back.
Four of the films were produced as a result of the BBC’s Film Network submission process, while the others were produced through other departments within the corporation.
According to the head of BBC HD, Danielle Nagler, this has been a great opportunity to show off new talent by broadcasting their work in HD, which just shows the potential of the HD service that the BBC can offer.
Although this was a chance for new talent to get their work not only on the TV but in HD, some famous actors were involved in these shorts including, Maxine Peake, Jason Isaacs, Paul McGann, Tom Ellis and Bill Milner.
