It’s bad news for Sony Ericsson, as the company’s flagship Satio phone has seen sales suspended by Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
The move has been made due to the amount of customers returning the Satio, which is reportedly down to a software glitch.
According to an article in The Times, Richard Dorman (Senior Marketing Manager at Sony Ericsson) said he expects the problem will be resolved by Christmas.
That’s not going to be quick enough for the company’s liking, as it’s without doubt a major blow to lose sales in this crucial pre-Xmas period.
Particularly as by all accounts, the Satio and its beefy 12 megapixel camera was going down well with the buying public.
