The broadband and telecoms provider, BT, has announced a new deal with the hotel and resort chain, Macdonalds.
The deal will see the Wi-Fi service provided by BT Openzone offered to hotel visitors by the end of the year.
The BT Openzone Wi-Fi service will be available in all of the hotels’ public areas as well as in over four and half thousand bedrooms throughout the Macdonalds group.
This will mean that customers of BT and iPhone customers of O2, who have Wi-Fi minutes included in with their packages, will be able to access the BT Openzone Wi-Fi for free, while other hotel users will be able to purchase BT Openzone vouchers to access the service.
According to BT, the Openzone has around 500,000 Wi-Fi hotspots around the UK and Ireland.
