Sony Ericsson Aino also runs into trouble

It hasn’t been a good week for Sony Ericsson.

The company has not only suffered woes with sales of its Satio phone being temporarily suspended by Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U, but now problems with the Aino have emerged.

It’s another software glitch with the Aino, this time affecting the touchscreen.

In a TechRadar report, a spokesman for the company pointed out that the “Aino has sold in limited numbers in the UK, so this issue affects only a very small number of customers.”

Which is hardly the point, really. Although Sony Ericsson did add “obviously we are working as quickly as possible to solve [the problem].”

It’s another real blow for the company, which has lost money recently and was hoping to recoup some of that on Christmas sales.
