Sony Ericsson Satio issue apparently fixed

Darren Allan

Sony Ericsson, which had a pretty bad time of it last week with issues cropping up on a couple of its handsets, has announced that the Satio problem has been sussed.

The software glitch which caused the phone to be withdrawn from sale has been fixed by a firmware update.

Or so Sony Ericsson claims at any rate, although Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U still haven’t got the Satio listed for sale.

You can grab the patch from the Sony Ericsson site, although some reports suggest the update only works on unbranded phones.
