TV channel Five has reached an agreement to put its programmes on YouTube, much like Channel 4 before it.
Five’s shows will go live on the website shortly after they’re aired on TV. No charge will be made to watch them, with revenue coming from adverts and split between both parties.
So get ready to watch the likes of Neighbours, Home And Away, The Hotel Inspector and The Gadget Show on YouTube if you miss them.
We think we’ll pass. The only Five programme we’re currently watching is FlashForward, and that isn’t included in the deal because it’s not an original Five show.
