Fareham-based Internet Service Provider NewNet plc is celebrating the launch of their
twelfth Point of Presence (PoP) at the exchange in Titchfield, near Fareham.

Local businesses and residents connected to the Titchfield exchange were previously limited
to receiving Internet connectivity from just O2 or TalkTalk, restricting their choice of service
package and budget.

NewNet is the only independent ISP to offer Internet connectivity and
other services within the Titchfield area, giving local businesses and residents the power to
now make a wider purchase decision when choosing their Internet provider.

NewNet’s investment in Titchfield will enable customers to choose from a wealth of NewNet
services including up to 24Mb/s broadband as well as bespoke leased line equivalent
business services such as NES and Ether Direct at the most competitive local prices.

Customers can also benefit from NewNet’s outstanding and highly renowned UK Customer
Helpdesk Team, based at NewNet’s headquarters on the Cams Estate in Fareham.

Titchfield is the twelfth exchange to be unbundled by NewNet and joins other local
exchanges within NewNet’s extensive LLU footprint which includes Fareham, Gosport,
Waterlooville, Cosham, Portsmouth North, Portsmouth Central, Havant, Guildford,
Basingstoke, Reading and Bracknell.

Managing Director John Mobley, NewNet plc commented “We are delighted to announce the
addition of Titchfield to our rapidly-growing portfolio of LLU exchanges and look forward to
the benefits it will bring to the local community. Titchfield was previously restricted to
services from just O2 and TalkTalk, and we look forward to providing customers with a wider
choice of packages and prices, from which they can make an informed purchase decision.

The technology of Local Loop Unbundled (LLU) services not only enables us to provide
super-fast connectivity, it also allows us to pass on cost-savings to local businesses and
residents, making it a truly unrivalled service.”
