It has been a long time coming, but it seems that the user generated provider YouTube is about to roll out a premium subscription service.
This would be the long awaited pay to view service that has been on the cards since Google took the service over.
YouTube has been keen to monetise some of its serviced in order to maximize its potential revenues, and with deals being agreed with major content providers it seems that pay for view is a going to be a definite service now.
This means that no longer will YouTube be the master of the mini clip, as users will be able to watch full length episodes of some of their favourite TV shows and even movies on a pay per view or subscription basis.
