PSP-4000 rumours fly

Rumours are rife that Sony is to expand its handheld range after an advert for LittleBigPlanet accessories mentioned a “PSP-4000”.

The likelihood of this being true is made stronger by the fact that there was already plenty of speculation going on about whether Sony would release another PSP.

And it seems unlikely that this would be a printing error. It would be quite a mistake if it was.

Sony, of course, is saying nothing. Stay tuned and we’ll bring you more information as it becomes available.

UPDATE 7:30AM 22nd December: The latest as reported by Negative Gamer is that they contacted the company responsible for the advert, who said it was a mistake. Speculation is still rife, though, and as we said before it seems a very odd mistake to make.
