Escaped criminal taunts police via Facebook

Craig Lynch, who was convicted of aggravated burglary, disappeared from his open prison in Suffolk a few months ago.

But unlike most criminals on the run, instead of keeping his head down, he’s been updating his friends – and the monitoring police – with what he’s up to on Facebook.

And his charming profile picture comprises of a one finger salute to the camera, no doubt for the benefit of the authorities.

So what has the 28 year-old been up to? Eating steaks, apparently, and skidding around in his car on the ice.

He’s also said he’ll be at a new year’s eve party in Lowestoft, according to a report in The Telegraph.

Whether his social network info-dumping will be his downfall, we shall have to see.
